We are proud to make our gluten-free sourdough breads available to you, whether you are here on the east coast, the west coast, or anywhere in between. All breads are $13 each, with a $12.00 flat-rate shipping charge no matter where you live in the contiguous United States.
To streamline the ordering process and make it as cost effective as possible, we can only ship orders of up to 4 items at a time. Loaves are about 2lbs each, and will stay fresh in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks, and 3-4 months in the freezer.
All shipping orders are baked once a week, on Wednesdays, and sent out within 24hrs, UPS 2-day (which usually takes 2-3 days, depending on your location and current transit times).
As this is currently a very small operation, there are a limited amount of shipping orders available each week. Our bread preparations start Sunday evening, so orders placed after Saturday will be filled the following week.
Please add ONLY up to 4 items to your order, or it can not be processed. To order more than 4 items, please complete your purchase and start again.
Pricing Info:
At first glance, $13 a loaf may seem more expensive than other gluten-free breads you may find on the shelf or online. If you look a little more closely, however, you’ll find that our breads are actually less expensive than any (that we know of) similar breads out there. Looking at the cost of a loaf per oz, it breaks down like this:
GF Bread variety : | Avg. Retail price: | Cost per oz: |
---|---|---|
Homestead Oven | $13.00 | $0.43 |
Udi’s | $5.99 | $0.50 |
Canyon Bakehouse | $7.99 | $0.53 |
Simple Kneads | $10.99 | $0.54 |
Pacha | $11.99 | $0.54 |
Considering we use fresh-milled, organic flours and organic ingredients in our breads, it is clear that the overall value of our products are significantly higher than anything else out there. We are very proud to offer high quality breads that are reasonably priced, and we are very grateful for your support!
Also please note: due to seasonal temperature changes and the natural process of sourdough baking, there will always be slight cosmetic fluctuations within the finished product.
